While I was using my barbecue, I saw a Robin land in the tree above me and it seemed excited. It appeared that a Hummingbird was trying to make the Robin fly away, so I figured there must be a nest nearby. Perched 25 feet above the ground on a very small branch is a nest not much bigger than a quarter. Using a 200 MM telephoto lens and flash at about 10 ft. I was able to get these nice shots. Notice how she cut out tiny pieces of maple leaves to resemble the real thing to camoflauge the nest perfectly so predators won't notice it.
The young are as small as peas. I hope to get a few shots of them too.
