On the return trip from Monezuma Wildlife Refuge this coyote crossed the road in front of me around noon and I thought it had a small woodchuck in its mouth. I then realized it was carrying a pup to a new location so I watched where she went into the woods. The wind was in my favor so I moved to the location and out she came, never seen me so I knew she would be back soon with another pup. Within 5 minutes I saw her cross the road again, run across the field and guess who was a few feet up a tree with my camera ready....half of the great shots I get are because I have a hunch it will happen, so I go nowhere without my camera!
