On Sunday, shortly after 8 PM, a small but potent thunderstorm moved over our home, just east of Truax Field here in Madison, WI. The storm produced frequent lightning, very heavy rain and dime-sized hail.
I took the pictures of the lightning shortly before the storm hit, and I took pictures of the hail shortly after the hail stopped. The hail came down for about 5 minutes. The storm lasted approximatly 15 minutes, and continued to moved due east.
This is the second time we have been hit by hail this season!
