My buddy caught this pike with one of our tip-ups last Sunday afternoon near Governors Island. We didn't have anything to measure it with at the time, but she was easily more than 24 inches. I wanted to keep it, but she had a swollen belly and my buddy decided she was likely "with child" and there would be more fish next year if we let her go. PETA would be proud, but I was hoping for a nice dinner.
