Hi my name is Tori Akers. Yesterday morning we lost our Quaker parrot, Peanut, in Elliston Lafayette. We knew where he was but he was so high up in a tree that we could not reach him. Last night my boyfriend Justin climbed up the tree and tried to get Peanut. Peanut got spooked and flew the other way towards the river. He has been outside all night now and we cannot find his location but we are still searching. He is very tame and very friendly. He responds to Peanut and pretty boy. I just wanted to ask people if they could please help look for him. If anyone spots him they can reach me at 540-2278-3419. Or my father, Shannon Akers, at 540-397-3437. Peanut is bright green with blue tail feathers and a gray belly. he can talk and he responds to the command step up. We love Peanut so so much he is 3 and a half years old right now and we have had him since he was little. This is tearing our family apart. If there is any way you can help my family, any suggestions or anything please please let me know. They said that he would be weak after last night and i am scared he will not survive he has never been in the wild.
