Today June 24, Travis Wells came to the Franklin County Public Library to read a story to the children. He read the story By My Brother's Side By Tiki and Ronde Barber. It is a very charming story, the children sat and listen very respectfully. There was a young lady who is a volnteer that played the guitar and banjo. She is very talented, although her name slips me. There was two more story tellers thats names slips my mind as well. My daughter, Darlene Miles was also a guest of honor, she is this years winner of Little Miss We Care pageant. She was one of many girls the raised money for the We Care organzition that helps Needy Families in Franklin County. We had a wonderful time. I am so greatfull to the library for planning these actives for the children to take part in.
