Patience is a virtue. Angler Kevin Wirth spends over an hour trying to coax a spawning bass from her nest Friday during Day 2 of the Blue Ridge Brawl at Smith Mountain Lake. Wirth fished the rip-rap surrounding Parkway Marina minutes after the 7:15 a.m. start. He was in 61st place at the start of the day. Only the top 50 anglers will make the cut after Friday's 4:00 p.m. weigh-in.
