My two young boys were so excited to learn that snow was on the way, even though the three-year-old did not fully understand the excitement he was expressing. As the snow began to fall the boys became anxious while watching each flake as the storm unfolded in front of our eyes; they ran from room to room pulling up all the blinds. All I heard for the rest of the afternoon was all the chattering and plans the two boys were anticipating for the next day. You would have thought it was Christmas or something and when my boys woke up, you should have heard all the loud excitement. Our family decided to go out for an adventure drive on our Campbell County, country roads for a full view of the beautiful scenery. We came across a church that was breath taking and I snapped a photo. After we came back home the boys immediately ran for the front yard for some snowball fun. My seven-year-old entertained himself by jumping into the snow from his play set and Alex being only three and tiny and the snow being so deep with a whopping 10-14 inches in some spots, he just sat on the swing taking it easy.
