This morning as we got up we looked out our windows and found a something that my kids and I have waited for all winter...SNOW!! Around 2pm it looked as if we had about 2 inches. We opened our curtains and blinds to watch it fall, but as it started to get dark the snow started to turn to a rain mixture we closed our blinds. We looked out around 9pm to investigate a pinging noise against our tin roof to find little ice balls. But much to our delight (and the children in the morning), just after midnight we looked out to find it snowing again and already accumulating a good bit more. This time we decided to measure the snow on the banister and it read 3.5 inches! Can't wait until tomorrow after breakfast to take the kids out in their first good snow!
