On 6-22-09 a storm hit Morganfield,Ky. At first I thought it was not going to be bad.A few Minutes later the wind started to get extremely high,lightning flashes had intensified.My whole family was scared to death. At one time our house began to shake our window went straight up than back down.Soon after the storm was gone, Eveything was calm like there was never a storm.My phone was ringing off the wall. My father had called to say the winds had broken out the van window.I looked out the front door and people were everywhere looking to see what damage there was. There were firefighters right across the road at our local Mc Donalds, it had been struck by lightning.I made sure our house was fine along with my family, after that i went to assess the damage around town.These our the pictures we took. Morganfield was hit hard when i seen the damage it reminded me of the ice storm we had a couple months ago.Trees down everywhere and cars crushed.
