Early Sunday morning a terrible accident occured on W 5th Street Rd. Denessa Jill Hester (23) was in a motorcycle accident. She collided with a car, bounced off the pavement, and hit the curb. She was taken to OMHS where she was pronounced brain dead. After many hours of tests the family had to say goodbye, there was nothing the doctors could do for her. She passed away around 7 pm Sunday night. She is survived by her three young boys. Her brother Thomas has taken them in and given them a home. She had no life insurance so the family is in need of our community support. Several companies have taken up collections for the family to help with her funeral services and James H Davis Funeral home, where her services will be held on Thursday June 18th at 6pm, is also accepting donations. The Jill Hester Memorial Fund has been set up at US Bank and you can make a donation at any branch. However big or small, any amount will be greatly appreciated. The loss of a family member is always a source of great grief and sorrow, but to lose a loved one so young is truly a tragedy.

I need to make a correction to my article. Jill Hester had three children. Two twin boys, 6 years old and a little girl who is 3. We have raised some funds so far and everything donated is greatly appreciated.
