EVANSVILLE - Two firefighters were injured overnight battling a building fire in Evansville.
Dispatchers tell us firefighters were called to 712 SE First Street around 1:45 AM Wednesday.
Authorities say the fire was so intense; firefighters were forced out of the building. Officials on scene tell us one firefighter was hurt with second-degree burns to his face & hands. They say he was taken to Louisville for treatment. Another firefighter suffered minor burns.
They say three people were living inside the home that had been divided into four apartments. All of them were able to get out safely.
