Grand Funk Railroad in concert at Frontier City Saturday Night June 20, Temperature was a mild 392F with 101% humidity, wind coming out of..nowhere....It is Hot..more ways than one! The crowd is having so much fun, we don't notice our shoes have melted to the grass.! But it doesn't matter..Grand Funk is on stage..taking us back to better.(younger) times...all pain is gone!
Even in the heat Don Brewer, GFR drummer lets go!!! It is time to rock the house. You hardly hear a drum solo at concerts anymore..the new bands don't do them ! Why? lack of talent? who knows!! But the drum solo is a part of a rock and roll concert always has been ..Don did not hold back, you would have been proud if you are a percussionist, or even if not! He played to us, and two lucky people walked out with a drumstick each... I'll buy those by the way!! Next Time make this show. This was an event within an event! I can't brag enough on this show!
