It was hot, the band was hot, the band was tight, and talented, With Grand Funk facing the east and the sun lowering behind the band in the west, a breeze was blowing just enough to keep everything from melting Saturday Night 6/20 Frontier City was ROCKING. Like it was 1975 baby. With 2 of the original 3 members there was much more talent here. Max Carl from .38 Special was new lead vocals, Bruce Kulick KISS's lead guitarist for 12 yrs, Tim Cashion, Bob Segers keyboardist forever, has now joined GFR...and founders Don Brewer on drums gave a great solo, and of course Mel Schacher on Bass Guitar was a master Thumper God of Thunder....They played all of their classics and some new, and even some surprises....Lets do it again..Great crowd participation....Four Star...Triple AAA...The Best!
