In watching channel nine to keep up with the storm coming in from Lindsay, I was outside taking pictures as I love storms. * I grew up in Frederick, where back in the day we would get 5-7 tornados a year. My daughter was keeping me updated through the window. I was getting some beautiful shots of the storm rolling in, but when Gary said that Maysville should expect dime size to quarter size hail, we were already getting dime size to golf ball size hail! This is probably one of the roughest storms that Maysville has seen since I moved here in 1993! The sirens went off and everything! Maysville was very prepared with the early warning from the national weather service and Gary England..... he just got it wrong on the hail size this time... WE STILL LOVE YOU GARY!!!!!!! You were always there to tell us right on cue when to take cover (back in the eighty's, when my brothers were my babysitters! LOL) in Frederick! We did end up getting hail from dime size to golfball even to tennis ball size hail ( I have some in the freezer) Thanks for always being there Gary and News 9!!!!
