Air Force Airman Christine A. Concepcion graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Concepcion earned distinction as an honor graduate.

She is the daughter of Annie Concepcion of Dededo, Guam, and sister of Francine Richardson of Lakecrest Drive, Killeen, Texas.

Concepcion graduated in 2004 from Simon Sanchez High School, Yigo, Guam, and received a bachelor's degree in 2009 from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
