Pet lovers and runners alike have something to look forward to this August! Guam Animals In Need is holding its I Love Boonies 5K on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009 at the Yigo Animal Shelter.
There will also be a 2K for the kids. Bring your pets for a day loaded with games, prizes and a pet parade around the Yigo Gym.
Show time is 5 a.m. and go time is 6 a.m.
Registration is only $20 for a group of 4, $5 per person for GAIN members, $7 per person for non-members and $10 per person on the day of the race. Pet parade registration is $5.
Registration forms are available at Hornet Sporting Goods, Mark's Sporting Goods and Hit Radio 100.
All proceeds will benefit Yigo Animal Shelter, operated by Guam Animals In Need.
