Our dad's name is Johnny B.C. Charfauros of Mangilao. He is a retired AF servicemen.
Currently, he's has the responsibility of financially assisting 5 out of his 6 children,
to support his wife, and to take care of his bed-bound mother.

Our dad has helped each of us to start out by co-signing on our loans, payments, etc.
He does this while trying to fix up our old home and make it a comfortable place to live in.
He has brought us up to be proud of our culture through his support and purchase of many local artists' works, by
supporting land issues and attending meetings, by participating in the political and legislative
arena, growing local plants and wildlife, and involving himself in the community whenever possible.

More than most, my dad is proud of his culture and heritage.
He works hard to encourage us to learn more about and to respect our island, its people, and its history.
With all the time he spends focusing on us, he has very little to attend to his own needs and take care of himself.
We ask that you pick our dad because we know he surely deserves this! He's the greatest dad of them all! He's #1!
