Sabrina Monteverde recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University in New York, NY. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 3-2 Engineering from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Sabrina was awarded the Bronze King’s Crown Leadership Award for demonstrating exemplary leadership through her involvement in student organizations and activities at Columbia University. As Columbia’s Chemical Engineering Department representative, she will present the First Steps Toward a Complex-Fluid Model for Blood at the FDA/NHLBI/NSF Workshop on Computer Methods for Cardiovascular Devices in Rockville, MD in early June. Sabrina will be working as a full-time R&D Process Engineer for Procter & Gamble in Pennsylvania. Sabrina is the daughter of Dededo residents Jacqueline & Solomon Monteverde and the granddaughter of Dolores U. & Jesus M. Monteverde and Concepcion L. & Epifanio B. Sablan.
