Guam Boys Bring Rugby to Chaminade Univ.

The Rugby Club of Chaminade University of Honolulu recently held their end of the semester bbq at Ala Moana park in Honolulu on April 19, 2009. The Rugby Club of Chaminade University is headed by the leadership of former Guam resident and Father Duenas graduate Anthony Villena (president). The Rugby Club is comprised of many former Guam residents and high school rugby players. Some members include Vinny Calvo (vice-president), Mike Sgro (secretary), Ryan Santos (treasurer), and Kenan Acfalle (historian). Other former high school players include Lance Castro, Roque Matanane, and David Lebron. The Rugby Club has gained popularity and still promotes the sport of rugby at the Honolulu campus. Presently, the Rugby Club has pick up games every Sunday at the campus and invites all people to enjoy the sport of Rugby.
