Mario Martinez ran all over the Islanders Friday night

The Islanders however made the game interesting in the 2nd quarter as they scored 2 touchdowns to cut the lead down to a point. The Dolphins responded back with a field goal extending the lead to 16-12. JFK'S Ben Cruz had something up his sleeve as he managed to give the Islanders the 1st lead of the night, running for a 49yrd touchdown giving JFK the 18-16 advantage.

The Dolphins however were not done as Martinez caught a 42-yd pass off a play action play to seal the 22-18-halftime lead. In the 2nd half, the dolphins defense were explosive as they held the Islanders scoreless, giving their offense ample time to execute, and that's what they did, Martinez ran in for 2 more touchdowns, 1 in the 3rd and 1 in the 4th to seal the Dolphins 34-18 victory.

Martinez had an awesome night as he rushed for 161 yards and finished off with 5 touchdowns.

Action continues tonight with the Simon Sanchez Sharks taking on Guam High at Ramsey Field.
