Strange Sunset

Location: Claremore E. 119th St. N.

I saw this strange colorful glow in the sky and it didn't look like clouds. It seemed to be moisture in the air capturing the glow of the sunset. After a few minutes they disapeared but the clouds on the horizon were still there.

I found some info online that this was probably due to aerosols in the stratosphere spewed by the August 7th eruption of the Kasatochi volcano in the Aleutian Islands. There were photos simular to what I have been seeing including one from Kansas
