Come on out to the 4th annual Skiatook Bluegrass Festival, Thursday -Saturday, June 26-28th at the Skiatook Sports Complex Park. on 133rd St North west of Lombard Lane. --- 1 and 1/2 miles south of the Walmart and 1/2 mile West.
The headliners are The Wilders, Newfound Road, The Chapmans, and Cedar Hill, all top natonally known bluegrass bands. Other bands are Bonham Revue, The Neverly Hillbillies, the Park Family, Klondike 5, Springstreet and The ZooGrass Boys. --And featuring Rockin’ Acoustic Circus, the hot new teenage band that is wowing folks all over the country.
The Skiatook Bluegrass Asociation is a non-profit 501-C3, dedicated to preserving and promoting the roots music form of Bluegrass Music. The profits go to Bluegrass Music In the Schools, a program initiated by the International Bluegrass Music Association and carried out by the Zoo Grass Boys of the Skiatook Bluegrass Association in area schools.
There will be a childrens’ tent, instrument workshops, Band contest, band scramble, Bluegrass Karaoke, Junior fiddle contest, arts and crafts, food vendors, and over 100 full RV hookups. Tent camping is also available.
Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate. Full 3 day tickets are $25 or $12 each day for Friday or Saturday, and $5 for Thursday only.
The campground pickin at this fest has been fantastic- Lasting into the wee hours and featuring some of the best musicians in the 4 state area.
