I live in west Columbia near Hy-Vee and shortly before 4 p.m. today, the winds suddenly started blowing pretty hard and large hailstones began falling from the sky. This one is just an example of many that I could have picked up, and some this size came down frozen together and broke apart when they hit something solid.
