Today I met Emma Jackson at the Noosa Sport Festival in Queensland Australia. This event has been running for the past 29 years.
Emma started Triathlon events when she was 15. She won her first Triathlon at Noosa in 2009 when she was 17, making her the youngest women to ever win this event.
There will be 12,000 starters for this event on Sunday 30th October, making this one of the largest participation events in Australia.
The festival runs over a week, usually at the end of October/beginning of November. There are several events; a fun-run, a swimming race, a kids and disabled try-athlon, two bike races, a waiter's race for the restaurants and the main event being the Noosa Triathlon.
Emma in line for Noosa Triathlon Title.
