Balloon Fiesta - We finally made it!

My wife Wendy and I had a chance meeting in Santa Fe almost 15 years ago. One had traveled from Southern Florida and the other Northern California. Coincidence? We don’t think so! After a 3000 mile year long romance, we were married in Taos. The impact of New Mexico was so great we wrote a book titled Defining Moments about the experience.

New Mexico has become our de facto home although we are digital nomads traveling the US for our business in a motor coach. But, to be a true New Mexican, you have to experience the Balloon Fiesta.

For reason after reason, we missed the Balloon Fiesta every year for 12 years until this fiesta. We stayed on the grounds in our coach, arose at 4:30a each morning and took over 2500 pictures. These are just a couple of special technique photographs that really captured our impressions.
