I was spending time in Los Lunas with my parents and noticed the sunset was a particularly special one. I grabbed my camera out of my pocket and just started taking picture after picture. Some of the pictures you can see what looks like a swirl beginning like a tornado was trying to break free from the cloud.

I was watching the clouds out here in Moriarty yesterday afternoon and noticed the same thing. Swirling clouds forming small funnels but they melted away very quickly. I have to admit it did make me a little nervous.
