Our dog Bonnie loves to lay on the back of the couch and look out the window. We have no cats so I don't know where she got the idea. Maybe she thinks she can sneak up on the birds if they can't see her.

I had a rat terrier who loved to climb to the top of the furniture that was in front of the window. she would watch what was going on outside and sun herself for most of the day.
Hi, I have a Chinese Crested, Powder Puff, she thinks she is a cat. She has three kitty sister. The dog in the mirror always scares her.

My dogs and cat all take turns lounging on the back of my sofa in the den. They all want the same spot and there is hardly a time when one of them is not in it. It gives them a perfect view to the front picture window and neighborhood patrol.
