My name is Quella N. Gooch. I am entering this contest because I have the most loving, giving, and unselfish mother only one could be blessed with. I would like to take mother's day to let her know that she has made me who I am today and has taught me the best things in life. I made this video to share with you the best advise my mommy ever gave to me...
The best advise my mom ever gave me was that no matter how bad something is, you will always get through it. She taught me to always pray and that God would be by your side and help you through it. She also taught me that the love and support your family can give you can not compare to anything else and that with that you can get through anything… I remember calling her many, many times whether because I had failed a test, gotten in a car accident, fought with a friend, lost someone I loved, had my heart broken, had a problem at work, or just felt like I just couldn’t do it anymore (especially being a mom)… no matter the problem she always said JUST PRAY QUEL… it will get better and you’ll get through this things could always be worse… and I learned that they could always get worse… My family has had a hard year this past year and no matter the problem… even when one problem followed another my parents got through it… they prayed… they had the love and the support of their family and they got through it. My mother is the sweetest and most kind and giving person I have even known. She is constantly giving and giving to others and has found happiness in the happiness of others… so when things go wrong I have learned to pray and find happiness making other people happy even when I am not. Things do always get better and you’ll move on and get through another day because of the people who surround you… the people who love you… the people like your mother.
I pray that God will give back to my mother in so many ways that she has given to her children and to the people around her... She deserve that and deserves to be named MOTHER OF THE CENTURY! I just want her to know she is appreciated and loved so very very much! I love you mom. Thank you for all you have given to me! Thank you for being you!
