At the American Grand National Cheerleading Championship held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 20 and 21, the Hope Christian High School Varsity Cheer Team was awarded National Champions for the Large Varsity division. In addition they also were Grand Champions in the School Cheer Division.

The team won the Medium Varsity National Champion award last year and this was the second year they won the Grand Champion award (BACK TO BACK!!). Hope Varsity Cheer has won the State Cheer (2A and 3A) championship for the last 5 consecutive years!!
