Robbery in Los Alamos

On Saturday November 15th at about 1:12 pm the Mountainair Cleaners business in Los Alamos was the victim of an armed robbery. The suspect entered the business and held the clerk at knife point while demanding money. The suspect was wearing a hooded jacket with a patch or logo on the right sleeve, dark pants, white tennis shoes, gloves and a ski mask. The suspect is believed to be a white male between 5'10'' and 6'0'' tall, thin to medium build.

A crime stoppers reward of one thousand dollars with an additional five hundred offered by the business owners has been approved for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect. Anyone who may have information on this crime is encouraged to call the Los Alamos Police Department crimestoppers at 505-412-5169.
