On 8/21/08 around 4pm 2 of my sons got home looking for Tiny our miniature pinscher. When they found him his neck had been sliced. My son took Tiny to the Vet in Pojoaque where he had his first surgery and spent the night there. The neighbor rode by our property on his bike yelling a another pinscher that we have because when he passed this dog was barking and chased him which this dog has never done before. My two boys went to go and get Ozzy, the other pinscher, when this man started yelling at them so my husband went over to see what was going on and this man yelled I am gonna hurt your other dog, So that gave me the thought that maybe he did this to Tiny so I immediately called the police. A sheriff responded got our story and went over to question the gentlemen who was arrested. We were told by the sheriff that he found blood on his pants, a knife with blood and what looked to be a hair from Tiny. The man spent the night in jail and was out on bond the next day. The story was posted in the Journal North and i felt maybe you should also know about this.

Absolutely unforgiveable-I too have a min pin and when I saw this on the news my heart sank-how could someone do this to an animal?-it is obvious that your neighbor is a direct threat to society and he should be punished severely -good luck.
