A prescribed burn at a grasslands area at the Crowder Nature Conservation Area led to quite a show for KOAM Photographer Georg Price, who shot this video.

The video was shot Wednesday, February 25, 2009, and Price saw what fire fighters called "fire devils" or "fire whirls" - where the smoke and fire form a vertical, tornado like effect.

The burn was conducted by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
