INGREDIENTS
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
2. Grease crock pot well
3. Add cobbler
4. Top with 1 can of cherries - do not stir
5. Cook on High until cobbler is set
6. Spoon into bowls
7. Top with Cool Whip, cream ice cream or skim milk (good warm or cool)
Sue Bandy said the recipe is good with peaches, 1 pint of black cherries boiled with 1/2 c. sugar before adding. Experiment with different fruits and berries.
Cherry pie filling does ok too.
