In conjunction with the Soles for Souls our VBS decided to collect shoes. We have VBS just 3 days. So, to help motivate the kids the Pastor challenged the kids to bring in 50 pairs of shoes in 48 hours, and if they did he would shave his head and lt them paint it. The next day the kids had brought 41 pairs of shoes. To make sure that they didn't relax and think someone else would bring the last 9 pairs he offered a new challenge. bring 100 pairs and they could also paint his feet and toenails. (a goal he was sure they would miss.) The final day of VBS they had brought 91 pairs of shoes for a total of 132 pairs in two days. One girl arrived late the last night and explained she was out collecting shoes. She brought 13 pairs of shoes. The video is of the Pastor having his head shaved and painted.
