Emily Maresh was the recipient of the Nebraska Amateur Softball Association Junior Olympic Big Bat Award presented at the Annual Hall of Fame Awards Banquet in January. She was selected in the 18 and under age division. She was selected on hitting the most home runs in a season. Her name will be displayed in the Nebraska Softball Hall of Fame in Hastings, Nebraska. She plays for the Flames Red Hots of Nebraska. Her team captured the State Class B ASA 18 and under Championship and the USSSA Midwest Championship this past summer.
