Channel: Local News

Location: Little Rock, Ark.

Recently this summer, Arkansans have been able to enjoy comfortable weather that is not usually seen around this time of year. One way residents in the central Arkansas area can take advantage of that is by taking a ride down the River Trail. This trail of two cities offers a 14-mile loop throughout the North Little Rock and Little Rock areas. The trail welcomes bike riders, walkers and even photographers to capture some of the wildlife images. An estimated 1,500 visitors come through the trail on an average weekend day.

Tyler's video kept one's interest because of the nice variety of shots that included some beautiful views. As well, the tone of his voice has a nice quality to it. It is neither grating, nor does it sound monotone.

Thomason's video was a good human interest approach to one of the city's showcases. The inclusion of a senior citizen interview broadened the appeal to a greater audience. The visual shots were nicely framed and had great variety. Good enunciation!

Your voice/delivery good! Sound quality probably wasn't your fault, but what about a backup story idea instead of interviewing the river trail after it rained and not a lot of people are using it? It doesn't encourage me to go if a lot aren't going!

Great job Tyler! Good shots, framed well, even made a dreary day look great! Would have been easy to go with the obvious but this shows you can find, film, and present a story from anywhere in any circumstances. That's what I'm talking 'bout!

Although there were some technical difficulties, Tyler's true talent showed through. His speech was articulate, his voice engaging, and his eye for the interesting evident. Overall, he's the man for the job.
