Nearly 40 college aged students apart of a local ministry, called TwentyFourSeven, based out of New Life Church will be competing in an IRONMAN DISTANCE competition today! The race will kick off at 6:30am at the Hendrix College pool with a 2.4 MILE SWIM, then continue with a 112 MILE BIKE, and students will then RUN salem trail repeatedly until they've completed 26.2 MILES and finish at a local home on Reedy road. Some will finish as early as 3:30 or 4:00 in the afternoon, some are expected to still be going well into tthe night, finishing around 3:00 or 4:00am.

TwentyFourSeven is doing this IRONMAN DISTANCE competition to raise support for their trip to Kenya, Africa to provide AIDS relief, work in orphanages and provide humanitarian aid.
