fall foliage

While driveing north on scenic highway 7 looking for something special amidst all of the bright yellows, orange and red colors of the fall. I turned east onto highway 16 for about six miles where I arrived at a small parking area and trailhead marked by a small sign stateing that this was the pedestal rocks scenic area.To get to the bluff line where the beautiful scenary is you have to walk on some easy walking trails. There are three trails anywhere from 1.9 to 4.3 mile loops depending on which trail you want to take they are marked very well from the start to finish. You can not go wrong on any or all of the trails, you will see a lot of very interesting rock formations and great views of the ozarks.A reminder, when taking children along keep them close at hand when arriveing at the bluff line so they will remain safe and the trip will always be remembered as a great expereince for everyone.
