The long awaited construction for two connecting overpasses from AR highway 35 to Benton and Benton Parkway and the AR highway # 183 Union Pacific overpass from Benton to Bauxite are well underway now. The second overpass is just beginning constructikon which will pass over the double railroad tracks and eleminate a dangerous crossing where several people have been killed in the past few years. These a re major connecting arteries for this Saline County area and will benefit those traveling from Sheridan and southern Saline county to Benton and Interstate 30 via the Benton Parkway connection to the Alcoa interchange on I-30
