Thursday afternoon, an accident blocked traffic for a while eastbound on Markham down in front of the School For The Blind. According to eyewitnesses, a car was going too fast through the curve and lost control, spun around, ended up flipping over, and winding up on the shoulder in a residents yard. The driver was taken to the hospital after having to be cut out of the car by the Jaws of Life. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. There were two child safety seats found beside the car, however according to police, there were no children in the car at the time.
