Corey Perez lands a Northern in the Channel by Albert Lea’s municipal swimming pool. He had been fishing with his father for two hours by the dam whey they decided to try at the channel where the large white pelicans were fishing. After a few minutes his line began to tug back and forth.It took 30 minutes of tiring rod and reel action to pull this 13 lb + Northern from the water without a net.
