The Austin High School Dance Team won their second Big 9 title today. This makes back-to-back titles for this talented group of Austin athletes. The Big 9 Tourney was held in Rochester at John Marshall High School. The team made this title return happen by placing second in both the High Kick Competition and the Jazz Dance competition. Austin beat out Albert Lea, Century, Faribault, John Marshall, Mayo, and Winona to win the overall title. Austin now heads to South Saint Paul for the section tournament. The State Dance Tournament will be the weekend of the 13th-14th. A strong fan base to both of these competitions would be a huge boost for the girls!
